Hey! I'm Rosanna, a portrait and wedding photographer in Atlanta, Georgia. Welcome to my life, my work, and my love. I just moved from California and I am so excited for what life has for me here. My photography is all about capturing people outdoors in an element which reflects who they are. I absolutely adore people and love that photography allows me to meet so many amazing personalities.

I need to start out this post with Kristen is gorgeous! I mean really gorgeous. I had no idea she would have such a range in emotions when I captured her and Josh’s engagement session. Such an amazing session. Kristen and Josh will be getting married in September and I could not be happier for them. They both have such amazing spirits about them and so much anticipation to finally be married.. as in they will be only be engaged a total of 4 months on the wedding day :) I love that!
So for the second day of The Mike Colón Experience, we pulled together an amazingly talented group of people to create a vintage southern wedding setting…. absolutely stunning!!! Waters Mill hosted the shoot and I must say the venue is immaculate! The incredibly talented wedding coordinator Joy Thigpen designed the tabletops and styled the models. Paisley Papers did all the stationary!! Absolutely insane right!! Talie Shove, my dear friend, tea stained all the papers by hand with her business partner Rachel. They used old books to create the menus and programs and made completely over the top name cards! Really gorgeous stationary! Lauren Bricken rocked the makeup! Always amazed at what she can do with makeup. Make sure to check out all their other work!
We were so lucky to have Susanna & Kenny model for us.. such stunning models who just happen to be married as well. They were amazing to photograph and just awesome to get to know. Can’t thank them enough!
Lastly, but certainly not least, Southern Weddings Magazine’s blog featured many of the photographers from the workshop including me! They did a gorgeous spread with tons of images of the shoot. So honored to be a part of such an incredible resource for brides. If you have never checked it out you are going to be amazed at what an incredible weddings and ideas they feature! My wedding was actually featured on the blog back in March :) Love them!
Prior to moving to Georgia, I worked for Mike Colón in Newport Coast, California. In addition to shooting incredible weddings and fashion editorials, he travels the country doing workshops for photographers sharing his immense wealth of knowledge on shooting, marketing, pricing, workflow, and client relations. Earlier this year, we worked it out to do a workshop in Atlanta, Georgia. I was given the great privilege to organize and host the 20 attendees for the Mike Colón Experience. Such a amazing feeling to help my old boss, yet have a business of my own. It really was a cool experience to be on the other side of the workshop and realize just how much he has to share with photographers.
Because I organized the workshop I had the responsibility and the privilege to pick the models. It was easy to realize Blake & Amy would be great models. They are a gorgeous couple! Both Blake and Amy run an incredible non-profit called BeRemedy, where they work to connect those in need with those that can help. Just a brilliant idea of giving people easy ways to be involved in both their close community and world wide. Make sure to check it out!
