So many emotions came with shooting at Kimball Hall. I remembered the nervous excitement of finally marrying the love of my life, but had the calmness of a woman who already had. I noticed all the little details I did the first time I knew it would be Kimball Hall. The little wooden gate, the window cubby in the upstairs, the beautiful quality of light streaming through every window, and the quaint warmth of an old home full of so many dreams. It was really amazing to share in the moments with Kirstin & Jono as they began their own journey of marriage in the same place as I had. It really is just the beginning … of such a beautiful journey..

I mean really gorgeous. I had no idea she would have such a range in emotions when I captured her and Josh’s engagement session. Such an amazing session. Kristen and Josh will be getting married in September and I could not be happier for them.  They both have such amazing spirits about them and so much anticipation to finally be married.. as in they will be only be engaged a total of 4 months on the wedding day  :) I love that!

We were so lucky to have Susanna & Kenny model for us.. such stunning models who just happen to be married as well. They were amazing to photograph and just awesome to get to know. Can’t thank them enough!

Lastly, but certainly not least,  Southern Weddings Magazine’s blog featured many of the photographers from the workshop including me! They did a gorgeous spread with tons of images of the shoot. So honored to be a part of such an incredible resource for brides. If you have never checked it out you are going to be amazed at what an incredible weddings and ideas they feature! My wedding was actually featured on the blog back in March  :) Love them!

Because I organized the workshop I had the responsibility and the privilege to pick the models. It was easy to realize Blake & Amy would be great models. They are a gorgeous couple! Both Blake and Amy run an incredible non-profit called BeRemedy, where they work to connect those in need with those that can help. Just a brilliant idea of giving people easy ways to be involved in both their close community and world wide. Make sure to check it out!

I love couples maternity sessions. I really do.. I think so much of the beauty of pregnancy is the anticipation of the new life. I really feel that this is best captured when the maternity session has both the husband and the wife in the images, because its a life change for both of them.. and well.. its just beautiful.

Eddie and Danielle had their first baby, Jude, 2 weeks ago and we could not be happier for them. They are going to be incredible parents.. full of honesty, devotion, and  good senses of humor. We can’t wait to meet the little guy.

Kristina & Stephen’s wedding was absolutely stunning! I love outdoor weddings.. natural lighting is so undeniably flattering. Their wedding was held in Norcross, Georgia at Flint Hill Mansion. The day was perfect weather.. high 60s I couldn’t believe it! Both Kristina and Stephen were so calm throughout the whole day.. so full of peace it seemed… that finally the wait was over at just the right time. I felt so blessed to have play a small role in the day.
